Which school students do you typically support?
We support students from leading Hong Kong international and local schools—such as GSIS, CIS, Harrow Hong Kong, HKIS, CDNIS, South Island School, West Island School, ISF and VSA—as well as students attending boarding schools in the UK.
How should students prepare for IGCSE exams?
Effective IGCSE exam preparation includes following the school syllabus, using past papers and examiner reports, regular revision, time-management practice, and targeted IGCSE tuition for challenging subjects.
Why is IGCSE useful?
IGCSE builds a strong foundation in core subjects, develops critical thinking and examination skills, and is recognised by universities and employers worldwide. It prepares students for advanced study (A-levels, IB or equivalent) and supports global mobility for further education.
What is IGCSE?
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is an internationally recognised secondary school qualification for students typically aged 14–16. It offers a broad curriculum across subjects such as mathematics, sciences, languages and humanities and is awarded by examination boards such as CAIE (Cambridge), Pearson Edexcel,
AQA and OCR
How are tutors selected for IGCSE Physics?
Tutors for IGCSE Physics are chosen for subject knowledge, exam experience, and teaching ability. We match tutors to student learning needs and the syllabus.
How do you improve exam technique for structured questions?
We teach exam technique through step‑by‑step working, answer‑format conventions, time allocation per question and past‑paper practice under timed conditions. Tutors model how to show working for maximum marks and use mark schemes to explain examiner expectations.
Do you cover Core and Extended (Higher) tier exam content?
Yes — we cover both Core and Extended/Higher tiers. We’ll confirm which tier your child is registered for and tailor topics, problem difficulty and exam technique accordingly.
Do you provide homework?
Yes — tutors assign targeted homework after each lesson.
Do you offer one‑to‑one or group lessons?
We offer personalized 1-on-1 private tuition only. All lessons are customized to the student's exact school pace, exam board requirements, and learning needs. We do not run group classes.
What exam boards of IGCSE Physics do you cover?
Our tutors are experienced in tutoring various exam boards such as CAIE (Cambridge), Pearson Edexcel and AQA IGCSE Biology and GCSE Physics. When you book, tell us your exact syllabus and we’ll match a tutor experienced with that exam board.
Do tutors provide past‑paper marking and feedback?
Yes — our tutors use examiner‑style marking to review past papers, highlight exam technique errors and set targeted homework to address problem areas.
