He is natively fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and achieved top academic results including 4 A* at GCE A-Level (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics) and straight 9s at GCSE in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. He has several years of experience in tutoring across secondary science and maths syllabi.

He has competed in international competitions organised by bodies such as the Royal Society of Chemistry and the UK Mathematics Trust, and uses this experience to enrich his lessons.
