Know more about the curriculum
Year 12 & 13 students at most international schools in Hong Kong, as well as some UK boarding schools, will be studying the IB Diploma which requires students to take 6 subjects — 3 to 4 at higher level (HL) and the remaining at standard level (SL).
Taking relevant HL courses is a prerequisite for most university courses, and university offers are based on predicted grades these subjects, in addition to the student’s overall IBDP result. Students are assessed both internally (through coursework) and externally (though exams at the end of the two-year program).
Schools: GSIS, South Island School, West Island School, Island School, French International School, Bromsgrove School, Charterhouse School, Malvern College etc.
