The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program (DP) is typically taken over Years 12 & 13, with students studying 6 subjects — 3 to 4 at higher level (HL) and the remaining at standard level (SL). Taking relevant HL courses is a prerequisite for most university courses, and university offers are based on predicted grades these subjects, in addition to the student’s overall IBDP result.
